So, I made the big mistake of buying a M.A.C foundation last year. I was in Vegas visiting my sister for Thanksgiving and I had the bright idea of going to the mall. I really wanted to look at makeup since Vegas malls have a huge selection in department stores. And out of nowhere, there's the M.A.C store. I needed a new foundation. I was using Estēe Lauder Double Wear and their Double Wear Maximum Cover. I has to mix those two because the colors were quite right. So, I asked one of the M.A.C MUAs that I needed a color match and got the Studio Fix Fluid in C4.5. I thought it was a little orange when I saw it in the bottle but it blended in with my skin. So, I bought it. Well, that and a Paint Pot in Painterly and a Lipstick (that came with a Lipglass and a really cute bag to store them in). The next day I was flying back to Missoula and of course, I used the foundation. Well I loved it! I has really good coverage and matte finish that I love! It doesn't look cakey or dry. Well the mistake I made was buying it because I ran out two weeks ago. I didn't know if I wanted to order another one but, after using all my other foundations I decided I needed it in my life forever! It arrived yesterday along with a Studio Fix Powder Plus foundation I ordered. It's just nice to finally have a foundation that matches my skin perfectly!

Welcome to my new website and blog! I wanted to start blogging a long time ago but just never got around to it. I am going to try my best to keep this up! I really set this up to share my techniques, give a little insight of the products I use, share some of my work and help potential clients get a feel for me and see what I'm about. I hope everyone enjoys!

So, Missoula finally got an Ulta. That is huge news in itself. As if that wasn't enough, I applied for a job at Ulta and got hired. Yay!! So, I start this new job and help set up the store but, all I could think of was, When do I get to shop? I told myself that I wasn't gonna go shop right away. Well, I lied. I totally went last night. I couldn't help it! I originally went for the Lorac Pro Palette and Urban Decay Primer Potion for my kit. Yeah, I walked out with more than I planned. As if that wasn't enough, I went to Target afterward and bought 3 more items ( Two of them were on clearance). I can't wait to try everything! I will post pictures on here ( if I remember...) of the looks I come up with.

Anyway, here's what I got:
  • Lorac Pro Palette
  •  Urban Decay Primer Potions
  • Naked Flushed Palette
  • Benefit Erase Paste
  • Real Techniques Duo Fiber Brushes
  •  Nyx Butter Gloss (2)
  • Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream ( These are AMAZING!!)
  • Tarte Inner Rim Liner
  • Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Liner in Nude
  • Maybelline Color Tattoo in Edgy Emerald
  • Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling
